Virtual Therapy for Emerging Adults in Washington and Montana

Support to Navigate Stress, Relationships, and Major Life Changes

Young adulthood, or emerging adulthood as it is sometimes referred to, can be a time of major transition and self-discovery both of which can simultaneously be overwhelming and exciting. You may be starting college, launching a career, navigating new relationships, or figuring out who you are outside of your family of origin. While this stage of life holds a lot of possibility and excitement, it can also come with increased stress, anxiety, self-doubt, and pressure to “have it all figured out.”

I offer a supportive, grounded space to slow down, make sense of these changes, and help you gain clarity to navigate these challenges with confidence. I work collaboratively with you to help you understand and regulate emotions, strengthen coping skills, explore identity and values, and develop healthier patterns in relationships—so you can move forward with greater self-trust and resilience.

  • Life Transitions

Emerging adulthood is often filled with life transitions such as starting college, entering new relationships, or launching a career that can both be simultaneously overwhelming and exciting. I support emerging adults in navigating uncertainty, clarifying values, and building confidence during times of change.

  • Identity Exploration

Emerging adulthood is a time of self-discovery, exploring identity, values and understanding who we are outside of our family of origin. I provide a safe therapeutic space to explore identity, process uncertainty, and develop a stronger sense of self as you find your footing in adulthood.

  • Relationship Concerns

Relationships-dating, friendships and family-often shift in emerging adulthood. I will help you understand attachment patterns, strengthen communication and boundaries, and learn to navigate conflict with greater confidence so you can create more secure, fulfilling relationships.

  • Depression

Amid the changes and challenges often present in emerging adulthood, depression can emerge or intensify, impacting mood, energy and motivation. Therapy with me will help you understand symptoms, learn coping skills and reconnect with a sense of purpose and motivation.

  • Anxiety

Anxiety can be a common experience during emerging adulthood as responsibilities and expectations shift. We’ll work together to understand the root of anxious thoughts, learn tools to manage the symptoms of anxiety and gain skills so you can move forward with greater confidence.

  • Trauma

Trauma and adverse childhood experiences can resurface in emerging adulthood, affecting relationships, self-worth, and emotional regulation. I provide a a safe, trauma-informed space to help you process past experiences and gain greater stability and self-compassion.
